Laura & Jp’s Wedding

Uncategorized · April 11, 2017

So excited to share Laura & JP’s Wedding!! This was such an amazing day!  Laura and JP had some of our favorite downtown spots booked for their big day. The Magnolia is always a lovely place to start and we absolutely LOVE the window light!!! We also went to the rooftop next door for a few couple photos before the reception and the view was incredible. Dayton and I couldn’t be happier for these two and we felt so lucky to be apart of their beautiful day!

Thanks to all the amazing vendors!!!

Andrea & Jo’s Engagement

Uncategorized · April 5, 2017

Andrea & Jo’s engagement session/hike was incredible!! We loved hiking through the park with these two as they shared fun stories of camping in upstate New York. The two of them are so adventurous and outgoing and it truly made our time with them special. The stream and the forest as well as the field were all perfect backdrops for photos of these two. They figured that since their Wedding would be in the heart of St. Louis city and that they were both passionate about the outdoors that this was the be location for their engagement photos, and we agree! Jen and I are really excited to share their photos!!

Alex & Thomas E-Session

Uncategorized · April 3, 2017

Fall engagement sessions are often some of my favorite. I am really partial to that time of year and the colors are always so beautiful. For Alex and Thomas we met in downtown St. Charles and walked around the industrial area before heading to the river to catch the sunset. I love using a bit of architecture and nature in each session, and St. Charles has so many wonderful spots to choose from.

Britni & Joey E-Session

Uncategorized · April 3, 2017

We love when couples use places personal to them for their engagement session. Britni and Joey picked a sweet coffee shop near SLU where they both went to school along with parts of the campus. We always love all the fun stories that come along with the locations too!

Leah & Chris E-Session

Uncategorized · August 3, 2016

Loved photographing Leah & Chris engagement session in Forest Park. We are so lucky to live so close to such an amazing park! We asked Leah & Chris what location they wanted for their session and Forest Park was the best fit. There is not only amazing landscapes with so much nature all around but there is also beautiful architecture. We had so much fun exploring and photographing these two!

Olivia & Matt’s E-Session

Uncategorized · August 3, 2016

Jen and I love going to fun places for engagement shoots. We always ask our couples if there is a special place to the two of them that will help tell their story in the photos. Olivia & Matt wanted to go to the Zoo. They had their first date there and it was such a fun memory for the two of them.

Silver Oaks Stylized Shoot

Uncategorized · January 29, 2016

We are so excited to share photos from our stylized shoot at Silver Oaks Chateau. Dayton and I love having our real couples as models for these shoots. We love the Chateau so much and couldn’t decide between wedding or engagement so we chose them both. Even with the rain the Chateau was just gorgeous and we still had so much fun!! Thanks to all the lovely vendors who volunteered their time and talent!

Katy & Stephen’s Wedding

Uncategorized · January 16, 2016

We are so excited to share this lovely wedding!!! Katy & Stephen both had so many amazing and beautiful details to add to their day. I was totally in love with the charm that was attached to Katy’s bouquet. It was an image of her grandparents on their wedding. I loved all the details that went into their invitations for Union Station. Everything added up so perfectly to help tell their story!

Katy & Stephen had the quintessential St. Louis Wedding!  Katy is originally from St. Louis and wanted to give her husband a bit of St. Louis on their big day. They started off at Union Station before boarding a trolley to Ted Drew’s. The frozen custard was a huge hit with the bridal party. From Ted Drew’s we headed to the church for their ceremony.

The reception was at Union Station and was the perfect back drop. Before we left for the evening we took them to the balcony overlooking the reception area!! It was such a lovely spot for a few portraits. The reception was so much fun and the night capped off with a special delivery from Imo’s Pizza. We loved all the fun details throughout the day, and we are so excited to share the photos!!
